Statuary of Pieta, i.e. a statue of Virgin Mary with dead body of Christ under the Cross is a main object of World War I Memorial located in the center of village Výprachtice (Pardubice Region). The monument is the work of Cenek Vosník and it was dedicated on August 5, 1923. Eight names of the citizens of the village fallen during WW I is engraved in the marble plaques. Later, after WW II, other marble desk with 9 names was added.
