Located at 209 E. Alameda Street, south of the downtown area, this park is located in the Miller Historic District. It has concrete paths and a lovely wood gazebo. Benches are located along the walkways and in the grass areas. A nice playground with several pieces of equipment is also available. No picnic facilities were noted. The area is beautifully landscaped with large trees and flowering foliage.
We were unable to determine any information on June Benson, for whom the park is named. There is a sculpture on the property, however, which honors the Minor family, whose family home once stood at this location.
