There are a number of wood benches and several picnic tables. These are the only concrete rest spots close to the Consumnes River on the three mile trail. There are four.

The project was done in 2007. It is likely that high water covers the benches in wet years. It is the only multi grouping of benches along the trail. The elevation here is 13 feet/ four meters.
The Consumnes River flows into the Mokelumne River and thence the San Joaquin Delta.
Watching the web footed birds take off on the river is a neat sight.
