This park is basically a lot of field, springs, a footbridge over Hickory Creek, two structures and a caboose. The big building that looks like a train depot is the community center, and never served as a station. The builders chose to make it look like a station, including a bay window, because of the locale. The smaller, windowless structure is the former Missouri & North Arkansas (not related to the current M&NA) depot, as can be seen in the 1905 painting in this history page. (The community building is located where the house is shown in that painting.)

The caboose is open to visit. It has no amenities (seats, etc.), but there are a couple of concrete steps to assist the visitor to get up to the caboose steps. A valuable source of information on the M&NA is the book The North Arkansas Line by James R. Fair, Jr., ISBN 8310-7077-3
