The A3D-2T Skywarrior's original role was as bomber; the first squadrons were capable of carrying nuclear bombs or a variety of conventional bombs. This particular aircraft was delivered to the Navy in 1960. It was later designated as a TA-3B and used as a trainer for bombardier-navigators. It later operated as a VIP transport for the Chief of Naval Operations before it was converted to an EA-3B configuration. It was the last A3D-2T to fly, being delivered to the museum in June 2011.
