This toppled marker gives very little information about the centenarian who lies at rest here. There is no record for this church on Find A Grave. The stone appears to be well weathered.

LUCY WILLIAMS
Aged 100

Since this marker lists no dates, one can only guess at the years she lived. Not far away from Ms. Williams' marker can be found another Centenarian, Willis Trapp WMK7DJ who died May 10, 1918. I believe that Ms. Williams' marker is about the same age as of Mr. Trapps marker.

During her lifetime, Ms. Williams knew about these conflicts: War of 1812, Mexican American War (1846), American Civil War (1861), Spanish American War (1898), World War I (1914).

She might have known about 25 different presidents coming and going at the White House. She might also have been alive to know about thirty five new states to be admitted into the United States of America.

A lot took place during the lifetime of Lucy Williams. No matter when she was actually born and died. All of the things we learned in History Class were things that she lived.
