Along Main Street in downtown Norman, several sculptures have been placed for the enjoyment of shoppers and tourists alike.

This sculpture is steel, painted red with a chemical patina. Sculptor, Craig Swan is on the faculty of Norman Firehouse Art Center. The piece stands about eight feet high and rests of a metal circle. The sculpture has four plates, each reaching in one of the four directions. Two cutouts of Oklahoma's state bird, the scissortail flycatcher are cut into the panels, with each "bird" spread across two panels. The sun will cast shadows of the bird on the sidewalk at various times of the day. On the lower portion of the sculpture, two stylized arrowheads are cut out of the panels, each across two panels.
