Just inside the cemetery gate, to the right, is the Yoder Family Mausoleum. It is a Roman Renaissance like structure, constructed entirely of both rough and polished granite, including the roof.

The mausoleum contains the remains of Edith Yoder, born October 26, 1893. On January 9, 1919 Edith was tragically killed in a car accident at the age of 26. It is said that their baby was also in the car wreck and that the baby is buried with Edith.

The B.P.O.E. logo over the door suggests that the Yoders were members in good standing of the Elks.

Forest Home Cemetery was begun about 1900, judging from the earliest date of death found in the cemetery, which is in the year 1900.
History:
The mausoleum would have been constructed in 1919 for Edith Yoder, wife of J. E. Yoder.
