Romania’s Embassy in Ottawa was opened in 1970. The building is very cubical but the staff have a great view of the Rideau River.
There are consulates in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. The consulate at this embassy serves residents of Ottawa only. A valid Canadian passport is required for Canadians intending to visit Romania. Since 2002, visitors to Romania do not require a visa for stays less than 90 days.
Note that Rideau Street is very busy at times.
