Unfortunately, precious little could be found out about this church using an extensive web search.
This FindAGrave entry lists the man who restored the church.
This PDF mentions an August 1999 meeting between the members of the church and the Arkansas Highway Commission. Of course there were also the usual "1000 hits" with information about how to get to the church, where the nearest hotels are located, and what the weather is there! But there was no other information about the church itself. It is kept in excellent condition, and there is a large air conditioning unit serving it.
From the looks of the topographic maps, this building also served as a school at one time. It was very typical for one-room schools to serve as both the school and as a "union" church - a church that did not belong to a specific denomination, but had a rotating schedule of pastors from various denominations, one for each week of the month. In some cases, the building also served as a community center for Saturday evening activities - quilting bees, pie suppers, etc. Thus, a building like this might see activity 7 days a week during the school year.
