Graham and Sarah acquire an African totem after Graham’s uncle is tragically killed. They name the totem Charlie Boy. Shortly after acquiring the totem they have a road rage incident and take it out on Charlie Boy. The other driver dies afterwards and Graham starts to think that the totem influenced the events.
A photo of his family that Graham finds shows his late uncle and family and the totem. Over a short period more of the family die. Graham decides to rid himself of Charlie and talks to an expert on African ritual art. Graham is told to burn the totem to rid him of the curse. Unfortunately Graham’s flat is burgled and the totem is taken. The ritual art expert helps Graham track the totem down. In the meanwhile Sarah has been killed in a car accident. Graham tries to burn the totem in the basement of his flat, but falls in to the flames.
