Wetland Community - Oregon Institute of Technology - Klamath Falls, OR - 'You Are Here' Maps on Waymarking.com

Located in the heart of the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) campus and near a large fountain is a recently installed placard with a 'You Are Here' map that was installed by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the Schoolyard Habitat Program. This particular area this placard resides in was created as a wetland environment and specific wetland plants were installed to enhance the surroundings and improve the habitat here.

This wetland, called a 'seep', couldn't be appreciated as much because it was wintertime but I look forward to coming back later in the year to see the flora in full bloom.
