Tore Kilde ved Glenstrup sø har formentlig fået sit navn efter en vikingehøvding, som levede dér omkring år 900. Der er fundet en runesten i området med hans navn på. Et sagn siger, at han ofrede sin søn til guderne og at kilden herefter straks sprang frem!
Folk valfartede til kilden, som man mente havde helbredene virkning. Man drak af vandet og vaskede sig i det ligesom der blev ofret mønter i vandet.
Vandet er også blevet brugt til lokal vandforsyning.
Vandet i Tore kilde har en konstant temperatur på 7-8 grader året rundt.
Tore spring is probably named after a local viking chief who lived in the area. A rune stone carrying his name has been found. A legend tells that Tore sacrificed his son to the gods and after that the spring suddenly broke!
People pilgrimaged to the spring as it was said to have a healing effect. They drank the water and used it for wash. They also gave coins into the spring.
The water have been used for local water supply for many years.
The temperature of the water is about 7-8 degrees Celcius throughout the year.
