Located inside the College Union on the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) campus is a intaglio sculpture titled Garden Party by artist Julie Warren Conn. There is a placard that stands in front of the sculpture that reads:

In 2005 Julie Warren Conn, an artistic and cultivated sculptor since 1965, endowed this fascinating sculpture for the OIT community to enjoy. She and Martha Anne Dow dedicated their time and effort in order to provide the campus with a unique artistic furnishing for the College Union. The sculpture is made of Tennessee Pink Marble with drawings sandblasted into the stone, including one of a magnificent centipede fossil that Julie purposely protected during her process. The sculpture was placed here just after Julie and her husband Philip, moved from Oregon after Philip's retirement as President from Western Oregon University in 2005.

Julie Warren Conn has a professional website of her many works of art in marble located here.

This sculpture sits near a staircase that leads upstairs to a food court. Martha Anne Dow, mentioned in the placard, passed away from breast cancer in 2007. She was President of OIT from 1998 until her death. There is a building named in her honor on campus known as the Martha Anne Dow Center For Health Professions.
