The clock is not currently working (Feb 2014) but there is some scaffolding on one side of the tower so it may have been deliberately stopped whilst the work takes place.

The four faces are identical. The face is pressed from a single piece of metal and has a three ring structure. The rings are painted black. The outer pair of rings have the minute markers between them that are coloured gold. The inner pair of rings have the hour marks between them that are also gold in colour and are traditional Roman numerals for a clock face. The hands are simple in design, tailless and also gold. The area within the inside ring has three supporting struts as 120° angles from the centre of the face. These are painted black.

Behind the face there is a circular opening with a grill across - probably to keep birds out. This passes through the full thickness of the wall. It is possible that at some time the clock faces were smaller and mounted into the wall rather than being mounted on it like the current faces.
