The Sunnyside Branch of the Ottawa Public Library is a well-loved branch of the Ottawa Public Library (OPL) located on Bank Street just south of Lansdowne Park, overlooking the Rideau Canal. It is a community library branch serving Old Ottawa South, the Glebe and Old Ottawa East with a full slate of programs for babies, toddlers, children, teens and adults.
The children's department features a wide range of programs. Adult programs feature author readings, travelogues by local adventurers, digital photography and computer seminars, reading clubs and a French Conversation group (l’amicale francophone).
The current building has housed the Sunnyside Branch since 1951 but it was recently renovated in 2010. (
