The Ottawa Central Station is located at 265 Catherine Street alongside Highway 417 between Kent and Lyon. The former Ottawa Bus Station was taken over by Ottawa Central in February 7, 2011. The station is open from 5:00 am to 2:30 am. Greyhound also provides a courier service for parcel delivery.
Ottawa Central Station is the 2nd busiest Greyhound terminal in Canada and 4th busiest Greyhound terminal in North America!
Station amenities include free WiFi in the terminal, secure baggage lockers and a MR.SUB restaurant open daily from 6:30am to 8:00pm.
Despite controversy over moving the bus terminal to the Via Rail station on Tremblay Road, Greyhound has signed a long term lease with the building owner on Catherine Street.
Interesting architecture: Renovations to the exterior of the building started in 2012.
