Located in the Washington Coast town of Hoquiam, this Masonic temple is a three-story Beaux Arts structure built in 1922. Hoquiam's first Masonic Lodge began in 1890, becoming Hoquiam Lodge #64. The lot was first proposed as a future location for the Masonic Lodge in 1894 but it was almost thirty years before the proposal became reality with the completion of this building. The first floor contains spaces for six storefronts and has held a number of occupants through the years, including car dealerships. Today the first floor houses a salon & boutique. For a period during the 1930's the Great Depression resulted in the Masons losing ownership of the building but they were able to reacquire it in 1938 and they remain active in it's use and preservation. The building now is the temple for Grays Harbor Masonic Lodge #52.
