The two Golden Bears at the south end of the Klamath River Bridge. Following the destruction of the old Douglas Memorial Bridge during the Christmas 1964 flood a new bridge was constructed at a new location about a mile upstream. The new bridge featured Golden Bears at each end of the bridge as had become tradition on the old bridge. Check here (
