This bell is mounted on a steel framework beside the Colville Fire Station on East First Street.

Presumably, since it is on public display, this is the bell from Colville's first fire station. Unfortunately, it is not known when or where this fire hall was built or when it met its demise. The present fire hall was built in the 1990s beside an older fire hall which is part of the Stevens County Fire Protection District #3. A fairly large bell, we would imagine it was capable of rousing the town from its sleep whenever it became necessary.
