From the US97 exit in Redmond, continue generally SE on SW Airport Way for about 0.2 mile. Turn right on SW 19th Street and continue S for 0.9 mile. Park and walk about 1.0 mile generally SSE on an unmarked dirt road. Turn right under the E-leg of the Bonneville Power Administration transmission line. Following a fence line but still on a dirt road, continue S for about 1.4 miles and arrive at the NW corner of T16S R13E S16. Continue along the fence line E for 1.0 mile, then S for 0.5 mile to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 2" aluminum cap on 5/8" rebar in collar of stones; flush with ground

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is about 70' W of a dirt road and 4" W of a smooth wire fence that encloses T16S R13E S16. Found three western juniper bearing trees on public land, each with a nail and washer stamped LS702, from an earlier survey by Raymond Oman. Also found a driven-flush length of 5/8" rebar with a red, plastic cap marked W&H PACIFIC/ CONTROL.

Survey history is found in Deschutes County Surveyors Office, Oregon Corner Restoration Record No. 1529. Land W of the corner is private property owned by Pronghorn, an Auberge Resort; else Bureau of Land Management
