This was the Caldron for the 1932 and 1984 olympic games. The torch is at the entrance to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and is a permanent reminder of the Summer games that the site hosted twice. The track and field events were held here. This is also the place where the opining and closing ceremonies took place.
