The Visitor Center for Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park occupies a building constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930’s. The Visitor Center contains exhibits and a nature store and offers current information about the park. There is a major trailhead for the park just north of the visitor center.
