Iasi is a Romanian city, located in Romanian Moldova, near the border with Moldova. There is a cemetery and in this cemetery there is a sector for the tombs of those who fall during Second World War. These are separated in two groups: the Soviets and the Romanians.
This monument, with the inscription "glorie eroilor cazuti in", which translates as Honor Heroes, is a memorial to the Romanians who died fighting this War. The memorial has a sculpture and two artillery guns, one each side of the sculpture.
