Y of Klamath Falls is a walking trail that is 1/3 of a mile in length. This trailhead begins at the road entrance to the Y and meanders around the Y building and ends in the parking lot on the north side of the building. There is a sign at the trailhead that mentions this trail being rebuilt Nov. 1989 by Chad Rott and Scout Troop 8. I've lived in Klamath my whole life and remember this trail being a dirt bike trail with dirt ramps and other jumps for many years. I think the worry about injuries made the bike trail go away and be replaced with this trail. The only beef I have with this trail is that it gets very muddy during wet weather. It would be nice if the trail had bark or rock to prevent muddy shoes.
