Consecrated in 1881, Lodge St. Patrick No. 468 is the southern-most Freemasons' Lodge in the Irish Constitution in the world. Its sister lodge, the Auckland-based Lodge Ara 348 (the Provincial Grand Lodge), was the very first Freemasons' Lodge to open in New Zealand, while Lodge St. Patrick is a popular, and one of the best known, Lodges in the City of Dunedin, with a lively and forward-thinking membership.
It also possesses an award-winning website - which we urge you to visit. The site can be found through Google.
St. Pats, as it is popularly known, has an enviable record for assisting charities and those deserving of support in the Otago region and is always looking for suitable men to strengthen its ranks - and you don't have to be Irish to join!
Lodge St. Patrick meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month, February through to November.
