From the bridge over the Dry Canyon in Redmond, travel E about 0.2 mile on NW Maple Avenue. Turn left on NW 9th Street and continue generally NNW for about 0.2 mile. Turn left on NW Canyon Rim Drive and continue generally NW for 1.0 mile to a road barrier and the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" aluminum cap on #5 rebar in a collar of stones; flush with the ground

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is 140' W of NW Canyon Rim Drive at a barbed wire fence corner. There is a western juniper bearing tree with a nail and washer in a face blaze. In addition there are two driven lengths of #5 rebar, one with a plastic cap, and a magnetic nail with a brass washer in an above-ground rock. All accessories are as described in the restoration record.

Survey history is found in Deschutes County Surveyors Office, Oregon Corner Restoration Record No. 1790.
