Pingeyrar is a small beautiful farm church, near a lake in Northern Iceland.

Pingeyrar church is near the Ring Road (6 km away, by a gravel road). It was built in the 19th century on the same place where it once existed a monastery.
It's view is an impressive sight and it is clearly visible many miles away. A trip here is highly advisable.
On the site there is absolutely nothing since the near farm is about 1 km away, and it's only a farm!
