In May 2013, the
US Census Board declared that San Marcos, TX was the fastest growing city from July 2011 to July 2012 rising 4.9% to just exceed 50,000 population. Texas State University and other business opportunities are drawing in the folks. This sign is, therefore, a couple of years old.
