This ghost sign is on a building north of the railroad tracks for the Union Pacific North Platte RR complex, home of the largest hump yard in North America.
It is not hard to imagine that Leypoldt & Pennington made significant business use of the railroad.
The building that hosts the sign is located in the 700 block of North Jeffers Ave (also known as US 83).
