Café Estrela do Mar although has the word "Café" can barely be considered a coffee house. In the Portuguese culture is more close to a "tasca" than to a "café". In a "tasca" people (usually very local people) will gather for a drink and food. "Petiscos" it's the name of this kind of food one can get in such places. It's slow food, to be eaten for hours, generally with beer.
This place has a particularity: next door there is a shop of sea food, so whatever you order, they will go out, buy in the moment whatever you selected and cook it for you. So this means sea food is always fresh. And the prices are CHEAP.
There is a restaurant in Olhão with the same name. It belongs to the same friendly lady.
