Ninnekah is a small rural town in Grady County, about forty miles southwest of Oklahoma City. The population is just over 1,000.
Not to be out-done by the fancy digital time and temp readouts in their upscale city counterparts, Ninnekah has installed its own Time and Temp facility on the side of the Lazy T Building.
The gauges consist of a clock approximately fourteen inches in diameter which accurately shows the current time. Next to this is a similar round Thermometer which shows the temperature at the moment you view it. Between these two high-tech gauges, a carefully printed sign reads "NINNEKAH TIME & TEMP".
This was the highlight of our trip that day through rural Oklahoma.
