Whether you're touring or skiing on racing gear, you'll enjoy 20 kilometers of groomed trails and the camaraderie of people who love cross country skiing. Teacup trails are next to Highway 35 in the Mt. Hood National Forest. The ski area is operated by the Teacup Lake chapter of the Oregon Nordic Club, under a volunteer agreement with the USFS.

Teacup trails will be groomed every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday in the early morning unless conditions for grooming are unsuitable.

There are 12 Miles (20 km) of groomed trails. The Teacup Lake terrain is varied; from flat and easy, to challenging hills with turns.

Tracks are set for both skating and touring skis. Our groomed trails are not as wide as those at some large commercial areas, but about 60-70% of the trails are wide enough for 2 sets of tracks and a skating lane in the center.

The Ray Garey Cabin is a heated day use cabin for warming up, stowing extra gear or having lunch out of the weather. Your donations have made this happen. It’s a place to meet other skiers and to feel like part of the ski community. The cabin is open to the public on Wednesdays and weekends.

There are two sheltered restrooms near the cabin.

Park at the Teacup Lake Sno-Park on Highway 35 to access the trails. A Sno-Park permit is required.
