The Cemetery is just south of the South Levee Road, 0.9 miles west of FM 1420, 0.57 miles south of FM 1018 near Santa Monica, Texas.

The Texas Historical Commission (visit link) has an additional name of Tanquesitos Cemetery. Their extensive directions mention locks gates on the levee, but in 2014, there were no gates. They say "(The Cemetery) appears to be partially on (International) Boundary Commission right of way and on private land."

Find-A-Grave (visit link) lists 18 interments with photographs for 100% of those listed.
I found a 19th headstone for Montalvo, Antonio, Jr., Oct. 1, 1901 - Oct. 19, 1976.


There are two International Boundary Commission benchmarks in the cemetery and one just east of it.
