Dan:

In 1659 it was Nakskov besieged by the Swedes.
King Karl Gustav of Sweden would take over the city.
But Makskov resisted and was besieged by the Swedish army for 13 weeks.
During a church service on Sunday 19 June 1659 takes the unimaginable: a cannonball shot through the arches and hits a tombstone in the floor right in front of the altar. The ball split the gravestone in two parts - gunpowder explodes and sets fire to it only two years old altarpiece. No one is seriously injured, the fire extinguished and the altarpiece repaired.
