The nineteenth century fountain, built in ashlar limestone, ordered the construction by the former City Hall of Lisbon in the nineteenth century (1849). It comprises the central column and circular tank, where you can view a sixteenth century vessel carved in low relief on one face of the square shank. Served as a watering hole for animals on traditional agricultural fairs.
