"A world famous artist is creating masterpieces and changing lives in Northwest Arkansas.
"What I'm doing is sort of educational in some rights," says artist Maser. "Showing a true example of what I'm doing so the kids get to experience that. I get to speak to them, they learn from it."
The Irish artist, who requested not to be shown on camera, is painting a 100-foot mural at the Jones Center in Springdale with the help of some local students - a mural with a meaning.
"It's pretty much an amalgamation of stuff like that. We used typography, spelling out the word 'support,' so I have conversations with the kids about what that word means to me and what it means to them," he says. "The figurative work represents the idea of falling down and getting back up and supporting one another."
For Maser, making an impact on the kids is what it's all about.
"Just getting to know them, talking about my life experiences, talking to them about theirs, and leading a true example really. I think that's the goal for this," he says."
