Polná Town is located in the heart of Europe, in the Czech Republic, the Vysocina Region, between the towns Jihlava, Havlíckuv Brod and Ždár nad Sázavou. Over the centuries there have grown up three completely different town squares, an original gothic castle rebuilt into the chateau, the Synagogue, and four Christian churches, which were built in various styles. Polná has original and interesting architectural monuments of all historical periods. Many of them cannot be found anywhere else. For example the extant (ancient) trade route, the monumental Baroque church or the sylvan park situated in the town centre.
