A rather unimaginative name for a places that serves about 87 great ice cream flavours. But then they probably figure that if the ice cream is good, a rose by any other name...

Mountain King Services is now closed.
The ice cream is great. Though one may get Burgers, Fish & Chips, Subs and Sandwiches here, it's the ice cream and the thick as molasses milkshakes that they sell most of in the summer.

Find them on the south side of Front Street, one block east of the best land mark on Front Street, the Kaslo Hotel. Primarily an alfresco establishment, they're open from April Fools Day until a month before Halloween.
