At the Hamburg-wide "Day of the open Mosque" in 2013, the former church which is now a mosque was opened to the public for the first time. The benches are already removed and replaced by a praying carpet, and the walls have also been already decorated with caligraphy. Although the decoration works are still going on, the new mosque is already in use on Fridays at 12:30 hours for service. I hope to take nice pictures from the interior at the next "Day of the open Mosque" in 2014, when finally the golden cross will be replaced by a golden half moon in a ceremony. As far as I know, this is the second former church that has been converted into a mosque.
