Two flora and fauna information signs at the south end of the Palmers Point parking area. The first sign is titled “Rest Stop! North to Alaska, South to Baja, Migrating Grey Whales Take a Break at Patrick’s Point” and deals with Gray Whale behaviors such as sounding, breaching, diving, and spy-hopping. The second sign is titled “Scratching Your Heads Over Pinnipeds? Seals and Sea Lions are Easy to Identify!” and deals with how to distinguish seals from sea lions.
