Firehole River, Wyoming - Ansel Adams Photo Hunt on Waymarking.com

When we came home from Yellowstone and first looked at our pictures and then at the Ansel Adams prints we couldn’t believe our eyes. This place at the Firehole River is a little bit off the beaten path and we went on a little hike just to get away from the tourists at Old Faithful. As it turns out, we took a picture at almost precisely the same location as the Master himself did 65 years earlier not even knowing it. One actually has to get into the river to take this shot. What can we say – Great minds think alike :-).

We love Ansel Adam's black-and-white artwork but some things are just better in color!
