From Avoca, take Rose Street east until Woods Lodge Road splits off to the southeast. Take Woods Lodge Road east. It will turn south, and then Coose Hollow Drive junctions off to the east. Take Coose Hollow Road approximately .2 miles to the point where Sallie Drive splits off to the southeast. In this split, between Coose Hollow Road (heading a little north of east) and Sallie Drive is where the survey marker is located - along and a little north of the driveway.

The marker is on private land, but the land owner is used to folks dropping by to take photos of it to log it in geocaching.com. However, I would suggest that you check to see if someone is home before walking around taking photos.

This poster was actually out Waymarking and looking to see if there was any remains of Rascal Flats School, which was on this same property many years ago, but is now long gone. The owner of the place happened to be out in the yard taking a walk. He was very friendly. He told me a little history of what happened to the school. He mentioned that several other folks had stopped by to take photos of the survey marker for "caching.com". I explained to him what Waymarking was, and its connection with geocaching.com.
