This beautifully done red granite memorial was placed near Main Street in Slocan City's city park and mounted on a concrete base.

Created and placed after the First World War, this memorial has had a plaque added dedicated to those who fought and were sacrificed in the Korean War. The plaque is attached to the north side of the memorial.

The plaque simply reads:
Korea
1950 - 1953
