The Old Water Mill, Gelligroes, on the west bank of the Sirhowy River, near Pontllanfraith, was built in the 17th century. The water mill ground grain for local farmers.
It fell into disuse and disrepair, and was derelict by the late 80s.
The mill was repaired and opened to the public in 1993.
