Visitors to Hedge Creek Falls Park are welcomed to a trail that leads to a beautiful waterfall, Hedge Creek Falls, as well as some spectacular views of the Sacramento River below and Mt Shasta in the distance, both from an observation deck at the end of the trail that overlooks the river. Before you venture onto the trail, though, you'll want to refresh your palette with some great-tasting water that probably comes directly from the creek that flows from the waterfall.

There is a small metal plaque on the drinking fountain that reads:

DONATED AND BUILT BY DUNSMUIR LIONS CLUB 1987

The drinking fountain's faucet was broken and always on, but I'm assuming the park officials don't mind, it provides a relaxing sound with the water tricking over the fountain.
