The swimming hole is named after the area surrounding Cabbage Tree Creek of the Shoalhaven River. The hole gradually deepens from the banks making it ideal for all ages. A tree has a rope swing. The hole is fringed by cliffs, tall gums & when it has rained the creek flows over a waterfall into the hole. There is plenty of room to camp but you must be self sufficient.

Access is off Yalwal Rd via Flatrock Creek Road. Turn right onto a gravel track just before the Nowra Waste Depot. Take the right fork, negotiate the steep rocky section of about 200 metres then it is a short drive to the hole.
