The Place:
Located in the south part of Hilliard Plaza on the University of Nevada, Reno campus is the Nazir Ansari Business Building. The Ansari Business Building, completed in 1982, provides 110,000 square feet for The College of Business.

Also housed in the building are the Nevada Small Business Development Center, Bureau of Business and Economic Research, the College of Liberal Arts, Anthropology Department and a number of other academic units. The building also houses the Anthropology Research Museum.~source

NAZIR ANSARI, age 65, is emeritus professor of management at the University of Nevada, Reno, and has been a Reno resident since 1967. Dr. Ansari's professional specialization includes government-business relations, corporate governance, strategic management and planning and international business. Dr. Ansari currently is a member of the board of directors of Washoe Health System, board chairman of Hometown Health Plan, and a director of Clark & Sullivan Contractors. In addition, Dr. Ansari is a trustee of the Desert Research Institute and Sierra Nevada College, as well as a director of Thunderbird Lodge preservation society. Dr. Ansari has received numerous community and professional awards and received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois. ~source
