This is the place where James Bond lives while he is in Hamburg, Germany. Although they shot all the room scenes at the Pinewood Studios in England, the really used the hotel as the set for the outside scenes.

Just one James Bond movie was at least partially set up in Hamburg, Germany: »Tomorrow Never Dies« (in German: »Der Morgen stirbt nie«). They used the old »Terminal 4« of the airport (which is now »Terminal 2«), the exterior of the five-star »Hotel Atlantic«, and just the top (with fake signs) of the 1970s multilevel parking block behind what is now »Saturn« (an electronic store) near the central station.
The »Hotel Atlantic« is in fact one of the best and well-known hotels in Hamburg. It is very often used as a film set.
This is what Wikipedia has to say about it: »Hotel Atlantic Kempinski Hamburg is a luxurious hotel in Hamburg, Germany. It was opened in 1909 as a grand hotel. It was awarded as the best hotel in Germany until June 2009. Since 1957 it belongs to the chain Kempinski and also it belongs to The Leading Hotels of the World. The hotel is located between the lake Alster and Hamburg Hauptbahnhof. In May 2008, the facade of the hotel was restored. The general restoration of the hotel has began in 2010. Although the reconstruction will take 12-14 months and 25 million Euros you can already stay in completely refurbished rooms and suites. The Hotel Atlantic Kempinski also offers 13 conference rooms, salons and high-ceilinged halls to hold an exclusive event or meeting.«
