This is the place where the parking block roof scene of the »Hotel Atlantic« was shot: The round parking block of the »Horten« department store, now »Saturn«, near Mönckebergstraße, right at the city center of Hamburg, Germany (shot in 1997).

Just one James Bond movie was at least partially set up in Hamburg, Germany: »Tomorrow Never Dies« (in German: »Der Morgen stirbt nie«). They used the old »Terminal 4« of the airport (which is now »Terminal 2«), the exterior of the five-star »Hotel Atlantic«, and just the top (with fake signs) of the 1970s multilevel parking block adjacent to what is now »Saturn« (an electronic store) near the central station.
Back in 1997, it was the circle-shaped parking block of »Horten« (6th and 7th floor), a department store, and had no top cover roof (which was constructed in 2000 as Saturn took over the building). The Hotel Atlantic signs were all fake since although the hotel does have a parking block, it is in fact much smaller and not the one they used for the roof scene.
The chase inside the parking block was shot at the Brent Cross Shopping Centre in England, by the way - not in Hamburg. I have also set up a
Waymark for that location in London.
